The huge established garden plot was designed based upon "Back to Eden" principles (find more information on this method of organic gardening here).
Yard hydrants are conveniently situated at both the near and far ends of the garden.
On the perimeter of the garden three different berry patches have been cultivated, including strawberries, blueberries, and an extremely productive raspberry patch for both fresh eating and preserving.
The orchard has been planted with a variety of modern and heirloom fruit bearing trees: 12 apple, 5 pear, 3 plum, and an Asian pear.
The spacious chicken house can comfortably accommodate up to 50 birds. With power, running water, an exterior egg collection cupboard, and ability to rotate pasture, keeping a healthy, happy flock of layers has never been so convenient!
Two additional small out buildings and a field shelter offer a variety of possibilities for keeping small farm animals, wood storage, and/or equipment storage.
The back pasture is fully enclosed with no-climb fencing.
Kids will appreciate the play area when chore time is through!
