Carriage House/Above Floor Bonus Area

A mudroom connects the main house with the carriage house.

Featuring two parking stalls, the main floor  of the carriage house also boasts an emergency generator subpanel and a heated shop wired with 220V.

The shop has it's own garage door accessible from the rear.

A flight of stairs allows interior access from the mudroom to the bonus area situated on the upper floor of the carriage house. The bonus area is a flexible multi-purpose space with a myriad of possibilities.

The first surprise to greet you as you ascend the stairs is a climbing wall constructed especially for this space. The highest point of the wall reaches the peak of the vaulted ceiling.

A nook at the far end of the area is presently being utilized as a homeschool room, but could function well as a home office.

There is also plenty of space in this area for a craft/sewing corner.

Behind a cupboard door, under-eave storage provides a dry space to put away holiday decorations, seasonal clothes, etc.

At the near end of the bonus area is an ideal space for TV/media viewing, complete with built-ins and surround-sound wiring.

On the opposite side of a half-wall, adjacent to the media area, is a carpeted space that suggests the perfect playroom.

And a scramble up the custom-built ladder reveals a loft that will ignite the imagination of any adventurous child (or child-at-heart!).

Under the loft is a room with a skylight and closet that could function as a fourth bedroom or a guest room.
